Rolling Into Tuscaloosa

Yates made a short hop west on Tuesday, October 12, to Tuscaloosa. Carl and Cindy Stephenson hosted the Falling Creek Camp Reunion and Movie show at their home.
Falling Creek Camp Reunion and Movie Show at the Stephenson’s in Tuscaloosa, AL on 10-12-10Their son Shane will be returning to camp this year for his forth summer. Carl serves as the camp doctor for a week during the summer, allowing the entire family to come to Falling Creek and plug-in as part of the community and experience camp. Their daughter Lindsay said that horseback riding was her favorite activity at camp and she enjoyed being able to play with Mary, the youngest of the three Pharr girls.
We were so pleased to have three FCC staff members take time out of their busy school schedules to come to the movies and speak with the boys and families about their camp experiences. Emi Arnold, who will be returning to camp for her 5th summer on staff in 2011, is working toward her masters in Education at the University of Alabama.
Sam Rosten, who was on staff in 2009, is in his second year of law school and is applying for the JAG program in the Navy.
Michael Wells, a Junior at Alabama, is pre-med and plans to return in 2011 for his second summer.
The staff at Falling Creek are what make the summer experience so great and we always appreciate them coming to the camp movie shows to visit with the boys and their families.
