South To Birmingham

Yates traveled south from camp on Monday, October 11 to reconnect with a large group of returning campers at Crawford and Mary McInnis’ home.
Yates was also joined by Tyler Vaughan, a Falling Creek Camp staff member for the past 2 summers, and his younger brother Hunter, a current FCC camper. Tyler was back home in Birmingham for the weekend from SMU in Dallas on his fall break. He did a great job answering questions from the parents about his role at camp.
Crawford McInnis was a Falling Creek Camper when Yates was a counselor. In fact, Crawford and Yates went on many lake and river paddling trips while together at FCC. His son Ford will be coming back to camp for his 5th summer.
Jim Williams and Hayward Edmunds are alumni of Falling Creek and enjoy seeing their sons having the same great camp experience they had at FCC.
